About Portal Riverpoint

Independent programming consultants in Bangkok focused on web platform architecture and portal rebuild planning.

Why we exist

Portals age in public. Login paths accumulate exceptions, partner integrations grow sideways, and eventually a steering group asks for a rebuild without a shared picture of what “rebuild” means. Portal Riverpoint was founded in Bangkok to give those groups calm, concrete counsel before money and morale are spent on the wrong sequence.

How we work

We practise programming consulting in the literal sense: we read systems, talk to the people who operate them, and write plans engineers can execute. We are not a staffing house and we do not sell a product licence. Our craft is architecture judgment and rebuild sequencing for web platforms that already carry real users.

Thailand context

Much of our work sits with organisations whose portals serve members, partners, or customers across Thailand — often with peak loads around public holidays, bilingual content needs, and vendor contracts negotiated years earlier. We plan with those constraints in view rather than importing generic playbooks from elsewhere.

Values we hold in practice

  • Prefer a phased cutover over a dramatic freeze when users depend on the portal daily
  • Write findings so non-engineers can follow the argument
  • Decline engagements where sponsors will not name a decision owner
  • Keep advice independent of any single vendor’s roadmap

Relationship with clients

Most engagements are finite. We aim to leave your team with a plan they own. When clarification is needed after handover, we schedule it explicitly rather than drifting into unpaid shadow support.
